California State Route 20 reopens to motorists with traffic controls and nears completion of the Omega Curves Project near Nevada City, Calif. on Friday, October 6, 2023. CalTrans and project contractor, Granite Construction, Inc. of Sacramento, aim to improve road safety, in order to the reduce the number and severity of collisions with the $62,543,000 infrastructure project. The highway crosses California starting in the Tahoe Forest/Sierra Nevada foothills in the east, and ends at the Pacific Ocean in Fort Bragg, Calif. U.S.
